Affidavit: Work Completed, No Pending Liabilities (for EMD / SD Release)

AFFIDAVIT

I, Rakesh Verma, son/daughter/wife of Late Shyam Lal Verma, aged about 45 years, residing at Harmu Housing Colony, Ranchi – 834002, Proprietor of M/s ABC Constructions, do hereby solemnly affirm and declare as under:

1. That I am the Proprietor of M/s ABC Constructions and am competent and authorised to swear this affidavit on its behalf.
2. That our firm executed the work "Construction of boundary wall at Govt. Middle School, Kanke" under Agreement / Work Order No. 01/SBD/2025-26 dated 15-05-2025 of the Office of the Executive Engineer, Building Construction Division, Ranchi, and the said work was completed on 31-03-2026 as per the agreement and specifications.
3. That all wages of the labourers engaged for the said work have been paid in full, and nothing is due to any labourer, supplier or sub-contractor in respect of the said work.
4. That all statutory dues applicable to our firm in respect of the said work have been paid / deposited as required by law.
5. That no suit, arbitration or other proceeding relating to the said work is pending by or against our firm, to the best of my knowledge.
6. That if any claim or liability relating to the said work is raised by any labourer, supplier, sub-contractor or any other person, our firm alone shall be responsible for it and shall keep the Department indemnified against it.
7. That this affidavit is being furnished for the purpose of release of Earnest Money Deposit and Security Deposit.

Verification: Verified at Ranchi on 31-10-2026 that the contents of the above affidavit are true and correct to the best of my knowledge and belief, nothing material has been concealed and no part of it is false.
